The appeal of such advertisement takes a mass form as nearly 95% of adult population moves out doors every week. Outdoor advertising covers different types of media like printed displays, posters, electrical arrangements, skywriting, traveling shows and sandwichmen.
Direct mail advertising is a way of transmitting information direct to prospective clients through the medium of post. Such advertising reaches the public free of cost for them and is generally read indoors as it is sent to their personal or official address. The important direct mail media are circulars, stuffers, cards, sales-letters, folders, catalogues, board sites, house organs etc.
In addition to all these media, various other media are being engaged fruitfully in the present days, which consist of television, films radio, window displays, showrooms, fairs and exhibitions.
